My client is the fifth largest company in the world and is currently looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join their ever expanding team.
As the successful Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing applications in the MI Data and Analytics space.
Your responsibilities will include interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports, Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality as well as filtering and "cleaning" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance.
To be considered for the Senior Data Analytics Engineer role you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 5-8 years of proven working experience as a data engineer. Strong knowledge and experience in/with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks, Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (eg, Excel, SPSS, SAS etc. Strong experience with Python and relevant libraries (PySpark, Pandas, etc.) and experience in traditional data warehousing/ETL tools (SAP HANA, etc.).
