Software Engineer - Brussels
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic and busy international team in Belgium
This will be a stable 6-12 months contract in Brussels
The ideal 'Software Engineer' will have the following experience
SKILLS AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Developer (levels 1-2 in the Function Framework)
- Develop applications, based on the technical and functional analysis, according to the standards enabling reuse of the code and improvement of the performance.
- Collaborate with technical and functional designers to realize the code
- Prepare & Execute unit tests and assist the integration tests
- Analyze & Solve issues detected in a technical implementation.
- Deploy the application in the environments
- Create applications with the focus on performance, flexibility, scalability and propose adequate implementation patterns/models.
IMS/Cobol/DB2 Tooling:
- Mandatory: Experience in supporting RDz & installation on Windows client
- Mandatory: Knowledge & experience in z/Os tools & utilities (eg JCL, Rexx).
- Nice to have: Configuring Micro Focus Reflection
- Nice to have: Experience with IBM DebugTool in an IMS environment
