Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Pensions and Benefits and current Pensions Specialist in their responsibilities for all governance and processes matters relating to pensions and benefits matters in the UK
  • Developing a working knowledge of all pensions and benefits
  • Liaising with consultants and advisers concerning technical pension issues while providing support to DB's multiple vendors
  • Supporting with day to day vendor relationships
  • Acting as primary contact for senior internal stakeholders, HR and employees.
  • Managing and mediating individual casework and queries including paperwork preparation for member elections and active retirements while arranging for these to be signed by internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking broader benefit projects within the team as necessary
  • Analysing and modelling employee, pension and benefit data in Microsoft Excel at the request of management.
  • Partnering with Employee Relations and HR Business Partners/HR Advisors in acquisition and divestment (TUPE) activities and assisting in due diligence on pensions

  • Effective communication skills across business lines, geographies, and seniority levels
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships
  • Word, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of pensions essential
  • Some benefits background advantageous
