Description
We re looking for a Sys Admin/DevOps Engineer with experience in large corporate IT environments. It's primarily a Windows shop: C#.NET and SQL Server, using test tools like Soap UI, Fiddler, and Postman.You'll be responsible for setting up and supporting dev and QA environments and toolsets, in collaboration with DBAs and various other infrastructure groups, as needed. You'll assist in config management, and help to troubleshoot environment problems.
The projects are large, with multiple releases in flight simultaneously. The position is a long term contract role in a well known, IT-focused company..

Required:
- Knowledge of Enterprise Infrastructure and experience that includes troubleshooting infrastructure issues
- Tools - Soap UI, Fiddler, Postman
- Basic Knowledge of SQL Databases Query, analyze, monitor
- Min 3-5 years in Infrastructure/networking or production support
- Familiar with database/server error log interpretation
- Familiar with application support and troubleshooting
- Familiar with formal release/change management
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, excel)
- Problem Solving
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
Plusses:
- Previous experience with Splunk and/or App Dynamics a plus
- Experience in Application development
