Description
- Experience with SQL 2012 and higher and Windows Operating Systems required, familiarity with VMware preferred
- Extensive knowledge of database recovery, database administration and database optimization and tuning required
- Install, configure, and administer database software within the MS SQL server stack including SSRS, SSAS and SSIS
- Participate in troubleshooting and recovering application databases
- Monitor tickets and requisitions and ensure work is performed on time and accurately
- Responsible for database recovery methodologies and implementation
- Administer database security to meet standards
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Create and/or tune complex queries
- Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation
- Provide technical expertise in the design and development of complex SQL
- May provide technical leadership for other database administrators
- Participate in the on-call/after hour support rotation for SQL Database Platforms
- Perform off hour database migrations as required.
