A luxury retail business is looking for a talented Commercial Finance Director, who will lead the finance team through a post-sale transition.
This would be a fantastic assignment for anybody who is looking for a role where they can improve existing processes and add value to the wider business in order to drive strategic decision making. There is an opportunity to take the role permanently. The Hiring manager describes the role as:
"This is a critical hire for us, as the role works closely with the Executive Committee and across all the business areas to help determine key business decisions."
To successfully deliver in this role, you will need to have:
- A background in finance (ideally qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous experience of working in retail, luxury or wholesale
- Proven senior stakeholder management ability, and strong communication skills
- Previous commercial finance roles
- Advanced Excel skills
A little more information about the role:
- Ideally a background in audit, but not essential
- Needs to be fluent in Store P&L and "Open to Buys"
- Identifying efficiency improvements in KPI's
- Ability to initiate budget process
