DevOps engineer
DevOps engineer urgently required for interesting contract in The Netherlands
6 month rolling contract based in Amsterdam
The DevOps engineer will be Responsible for the following:
* Develop and manage API's which offers our customers a look into their future financial situation.
* Mainly responsible for the management and operations of the applications and their platform.
* You are responsible for keeping the stack secure and compliant and we expect you to automate as much of the operational tasks as possible.
* Pro-active monitoring and prevention of disruptions is part of your mission.
* You take responsibility and ownership of the platform and show control of "your" IT stack.
The DevOps engineer will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
* You are capable of finding your way and retrieving answers within a rapidly evolving organisation with strict risk & compliancy requirements..
* Multiple years of experience in managing linux (RedHat) platforms/applications.
* Strong experience in Shell Scripting (using bash)
* Strong experience in automation (using Ansible)
* Proficient in Continuous Delivery environments (GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory)
* Strong market focus (you bring innovation to the team)
* Team player with experience in Agile/Scrum
* Nice to have
* Programming experience (Java, Scala, Python)
* Experience with API architectures (REST)
* Experience with streaming data architectures (Spark, Flink)
* Experience with Containerisation (Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes)
* Experience in a marketing driven organisation
