Description

Change Specialists, a niche change delivery consultancy, has been engaged by a financial services client in Yorkshire to provide change management expertise and people.

We are looking for a Communications & Reporting specialist to create periodic executive communication slide packs to meet our reporting requirements both internally externally. The post holder will also have responsibility for engaging within the team and across client organisations to gather the required information. You will produce high quality creative and clear communication materials to support the internal project and governance groups.

We require support immediately, therefore only candidates who can start onsite imminently should apply.

This engagement will demand fully committed resources so candidates with any leave commitments in the next 3 months cannot be considered.

The role will be based in Yorkshire on client site 5 days per week, with occasional UK travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and use a wide range of communication tools to effectively disseminate messages to internal and external audiences
  • Ensure strong communication between teams
  • Flexible and adaptable, you will have a methodological and logical approach that can be applied to your work
  • Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them
  • Work with the PMO manager to gather information and evidence and present information in a clear, coherent way
  • Work closely with leaders and executives to develop and strengthen stakeholder engagement activities

Qualifications and Skills:

  • To be successful you will have strong communication skills with the ability to synthesise large amounts of complex information with experience of writing executive type reports and communications to a high standard
  • At least a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
  • A minimum of two years' experience in communications strategy development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively

In addition, you will have:

  • A proven ability to translate complex and technical information in easy-to-understand and engaging means of communication
  • The ability to write engaging and compelling stories
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to represent the team in front of stakeholders
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, producing high quality work to deadlines
  • Experience developing communications plans/strategies and the ability to think creatively about different communication channels
