Description
Recent update of the company's Corporate Security strategy resulted in the need to deploy a Market Standard Best-of-Suite for core physical security capabilities that would Significantly improves Security Operators' experience, resulting in increased productivity and awareness, gives better solution, covering more requirements than the existing system eg Supervisor rules, Alarm priority management, Mobile device support etc. Following exploratory studies and deep dives a best of suite solution 'Genetec' ACS is found to be most suitable to replace the existing system as Genetec offers an integrated Security Solution - covering Control Center, Video Surveillance, as well as Access Control functionality as part of a single, unified solution. The decision has been made to replace the existing system with Genetec in two steps - initially running a pilot to capture the learnings and then execute the replacement programme. The pilot project with the Genetec system is known as Genetec Pathfinder.
Experience
- Excellent project and program management skills (scope management, cost management, quality management)
- Experience (Minimum 5 years) of relevant experience in leading large scale security project in larger corporation and or covering multiple sites
- Experience with physical security systems (Video Management Systems and Access Control Systems) is an asset
- Knowledge of networking principles and the IP protocol is an asset
- Good knowledge of software development
- Excellent communication skills and Strong interpersonal skills (influencing skills, conflict management, stakeholder management, and team management)
- PMP certification is an asset
- Excellent business partnering skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams in a global setting
- Good understanding (experience is preferred) of market standard and SaaS deployments
- Experience of managing a POC/Pilot in an Enterprise environment
