Are you an experienced Continuous Improvement Coach looking for your next contracting position?

If so then we may have the role for you. Our client is looking for an experienced coach to lead in the development and delivery of change initiatives across their organisation.

This is initially a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of change initiatives (continuous improvement waves)
  • Work closely with Engagement Leads other coaches and stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver behavioural change and gain buy-in and engagement from leaders and their teams
  • Coach a group of continuous improvement champions

Core requirements:

  • A strong track record of leading and implementing behavioural change projects
  • Experience in a Lean/Continuous Improvement environment and experience of associated mind-sets and behaviours
  • Good understanding of change management methodology
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of coaching and developing coaching skills in others
  • Experience of coaching specifically around recognised behavioural change led programmes eg PWC Perform, McKinsey 5 Lenses etc.
  • Track record of leading and implementing change related activity

  • Understanding of the Lewin Curve
  • Understanding of the Lean principles
  • Coach the coach
  • Process mapping facilitation skills
  • Root Cause Analysis skills
  • Team based problem solving facilitation skills
  • An understanding of strategy deployment
  • Comms and engagement planning
  • Team effectiveness eg insights, Belbin,
  • Performance dialogue - coaching creation of boards and facilitation skills and an understanding of visual management
  • VOC tools eg Kano, CTQs etc.
  • Coaching method eg GROW
  • Influencing model eg McKinsey
  • Feedback method eg OEPS
  • Understanding PDCA
  • Leaders standard work
  • A3 Coaching
  • Gemba walks
  • Target conditions
  • Coaching Kata & Improvement Kata
  • Creative Solution Techniques eg divergent/convergent thinking
  • Leading, lagging and predictive indicators
  • Process Confirmation
