Senior Middleware Developer - long term - Brussels
As Senior Middleware Developer you will analyze and resolve business processes, system functionality, implementation issues and system and software integration issues where analysis of situations or data require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Next to that, you will:
- Review requirements with technical and non-technical staff and provide productive feedback and guidance
- Evaluate new approaches and design to help drive reuse and efficiency
- Support production systems as necessary
- Support the strategic initiatives of Technology Services
Key skills of the Senior Middleware Developer:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as Middleware developer, any kind
- Experience using multiple technologies to develop business critical systems in a distributed architecture
- Experience with complex multi-platform troubleshooting in a multi-platform environment
- Experience with test driven development including unit, integration and performance testing methodologies and tools
- Advanced skills associated with system integration design, modification, implementation and deployment
- Great ability to understand functional needs of the primary lines of business applications and how systems can support those needs
- Excellent ability to interact with senior level technical and non-technical management and to develop solutions for business and systems
