Big Data Engineer required to join a global end user migrating to AWS. Brand new program, multi-year global deployment. 18-24 month contract engagement, 75% remote! Excellent rates on offer.
Excellent opportunity to join a brand new program from a global end user, moving all data from on premise Servers to the AWS cloud.
English language program - open to candidates from all over Europe happy to work from home and travel 1 week per month!
Key criteria required of the Big Data Engineer:
- Strong data engineering skills - build, configure & optimize data pipelines & sets
- Experience with AWS cloud - Lambda, S3, EMR, RDS, Redshift
- Big Data design patterns & cloud operations
- 3 years WCS experience
- Hands on ETL experience - AWS Glue etc.
- Java coding skills - JavaScript, Python or similar programming languages
- Application security (code-level) - IAM roles, credentials, encryption
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
