Head of Finance - NHS - 3 months initially - £390-£490 inside IR35 - London
You will lead on financial management and reporting for acute spend, noncontracted activity, private providers and LAS spend across the sector and provide support to directors and budget holders. You will support the running the finance function including providing oversight of the non-acute finance function. In addition you will provide significant support in ensuring the management accounting function runs to a high standard and in ensuring reporting needs are met.
Day to day responsibilities will include overseeing the financial management of all acute, non- contracted activity, private providers and LAS Spend budgets and providing a full financial support role to contract managers including providing costing services and budgetary control processes.
Experience Needed
- CCAB or CIMA accreditation
- Significant experience of finance at a senior management level, including management of complex budgets and achieving financial balance
- Experience of NHS acute contract monitoring and negotiating and keeping within resources
- Expert knowledge of PBR rules and their application
