We are currently searching for a Communications Representative to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large Oil and Gas company.

The project department of the organization manages the delivery of major projects and drives the innovation that leads to new technology. They also make sure that all departments' assets are operating safely and efficiently- both in economic and environmental terms.
The project department operates and supports a range of IT technologies for the whole organization
As a communications representative you will support the creation and distribution of communication to inform the end-users about upcoming changes or available services.
You will support the creation and distribution of internal communication(plans).
You'll be responsible for creating meaningful and easy to understand communication within The company's standards.
You recognize yourself in having versatile communication skills to engage with a wide range of service users.
You will work on communication that will reach more then 40,000 end-users in different countries and cultures across our global network - from Houston to Hamburg, Kuala Lumpur to London.
The main focus of the role is knowing what is going on in the organization, drafting communication messages to inform our end-users, as well as support in organizing internal communications such as webcasts, internal posts on our company social media (yammer), drafting communication plans and organizing employee engagement activities.
The communication representative will assist in managing the Change Agent Network, by connecting with speakers and keeping our change agents up to date, this includes contributing to the implementation of new ways or working.
You will work closely together with communications colleagues and the team lead who is based in Amsterdam.
Skills & Requirements:
* You can translate technical language into easy to understand, effective messaging for end-users
* You have strong collaboration and engagement skills using both spoken and written English which are customer focused
* You have experience in creating and maintaining communication plans
* You have affinity with change management
* You are proactive, hands-on and have a strong focus on (value) delivery
* You are versatile, comfortable with deadlines and able to work on several projects at once
