JD Edwards/EDI Technical Consultant: Remote, Supply Chain, ERP, XML
A world renowned pharmaceutical organisation with offices in Belgium are seeking 3x JD Edwards/EDI Technical Consultants to be involved in the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, implementation, deployment and support handover of EDI projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for plans, schedules, assignments, and deliverables and manage the project through each phase of the Project Life Cycle.
The candidate can be based primarily remotely but presence onsite is required especially at the start. Travel expenses are included within the rate and cannot be paid in addition.
Main Requirements:
*Experience with Supply Chain and ERP systems (JDE) and EDI flows
*Minimum 3 years of EDI experience; Knowledge of several EDI Formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, PEPPOL), XML (eg. UBL), XPath, XSLT, XML Schemas, flat files, CSV, and iDOCs XMLs.
*2 years of project manager experience
*BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields or equivalent professional education/experience.
*Detailed understanding of data integration, data mapping, cloud based services concepts and business data flows.
*Relational database experience (Oracle, DB2/UDB, or SQL Server) with basic SQL skills
*Proficient in MS Project and MS Visio
*Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), both to technical and non-technical teams, both internally and externally; strong documentation skills
*Strong analytical skills, fast learner, proactive and self-sufficient
Desired
*Experience with Sterling Integrator, IBM WTX, EDI communication protocols (eg VANs, AS2)
*Agile methods (SCRUM)
*Experience in designing, constructing, implementing and documenting enterprise integration solutions.
*Process diagraming foundation and methodologies and technologies such as UML etc.
*Experience working in an enterprise environment with a Matrix organization
*Experience with change management processes, validation procedures
