Data Scientist - Python/R/PySpark/Kubernetes/Raw Data/Hadoop/Agile - Location Amsterdam - hour rate of €40 - 3 day week
The Role
A start-up feel company based in Amsterdam are looking for a short term 6 months contract to join there exciting and highly successful Data Science business. As the Data Scientist you will be working with a very small team to analyse data, come up with creative solutions to problems and even be involved in bringing new ideas to the business to develop their product.
Ideally the Data Scientist will have a minimum of 1 years experience in the industry or a PhD in Analytics or something similar. You will be driven by data and enjoy analysing this on a daily basis. There is an opportunity to extend this contract and be involved in the investment of the company.
Data Scientist Requirements
- Experience with Python/R
- Experience with PySpark or Kubernetes
- 1 year commercial experience OR a PhD/Masters in Analytics (or something similar)
- Understanding of machine learning
- Understanding of algorithm design, development, optimization, scaling and application
- Commercial understanding
- Ideally you will experience working with people data analytics

The successful Data Scientist will be working in the heart of Amsterdam with a small team who are made up of Data specialist. The company are largely successful in their industry and although they have only been running for a couple of years they feel as though they have been established for a number of years!
