CAD Design Authority - 18 month contract
We are looking for a CAD Design Authority to join our Design group within the busy and dynamic DPD team.

The role
- CAD strategy for MBNL Cell Sites for site build, upgrade and maintenance, bearing in mind shareholder confidentiality
- Work with tools and systems to provide appropriate support and storage for drawings and other site documentation
- Maintain an MBNL Drawing template with current products
- Small Works Contractors CAD Audits;
- Arrange and run design seminars to distribute and explain CAD strategy and processes;
- Be a promoter and supporter of Health & Safety and QA for MBNL cell sites
Must Have
- Experience of working as a Senior CAD infrastructure designer within a telecoms network arena, with a good knowledge of structural design;
- Expert user in Autocad;
- Good understanding of structural and telecommunications design.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and email;
- Good communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to work pro-actively, understanding the needs and requirements of MBNL
- Driving Licence;
- Knowledge of the industry and suppliers.
Nice to Have
- Record of introducing new systems into a mobile phone network environment.
- Evidence of technical document authoring
This role would suit a structural engineer with experience of Civil/Structural Engineering for telecommunications, with a good knowledge of AutoCAD.
