Description
Resource 1 is seeking a Sr. Consultant for a SharePoint 2013 (on-premise) to o365 (online) migration. Individual should have at least 7 years of technical experience with recent SharePoint migrations.
Project will start off with an assessment of the current SharePoint environment and sites. Individual will be solely responsible for moving all the content/data from the current SharePoint 2013 (on-premise) sites to SharePoint o365 (online). Individual will interact with various stakeholders (network, storage, security, functional, etc.) to architect and deliver the migration. This is a full migration to the cloud. The current SharePoint Intranet is fairly out-of-the-box, with limited customizations. Ideal candidate would have successfully completed SharePoint migration projects and can make recommendations on tool utilization, timelines, project plans, etc. Should be knowledgeable on industry best practices, migrations and Scripting tools that are specifically utilized in SharePoint. Once the content is moved to SharePoint o365, individual will be responsible for making the required changes to the new sites. Individual should possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
