Long Term contract within US Investment Bank.
- Multiple years experience working with DNS and DHCP.
- Experience in deploying DNS/DHCP within an enterprise setting.
- Design and engineering DNS/DHCP solutions.
- Operational support for DNS and DHCP.
- Understanding of DHCP and Options templates & DHCP DORA process.
- MACD experience within a DNS/DHCP position.
- IP address management and deployment.
- Life cycle management, refresh, in a DNS/DHCP environment.
- Writing and creating HLD and LLD documents for DNS/DHCP solutions.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Bash Scripting.
- QIP exposure
- Bluecat.
- Python Scripting.
- Automation/API
Day to Day Work
- Analysing and Documenting technical application and service requirements.
- Working across multiple teams to identify end to end business solutions.
- Creating and documenting designs utilising design patterns and standard documents.
- Co figuration of devices to deploying new services into production.
- Prioritisation and scheduling of implementation activities.
- Active participation in the Change Management process.
- Assisting with the troubleshooting of existing and new implementations to resolve issues identified in testing and improve services.
- Identifying/managing the mitigation of risks within the operational environment.Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect new additions to or modifications in the environment and handed into Operations successfully.
