Description
I have a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 3-6 month contract in Telford.
Rate: £25-£28ph
Core Responsibilities
* Define the products specifications to meet customer requirements
* Create mechanical drawings in Inventor software and bills of material for customer approval and manufacture
* Solve any design issues during the manufacturing process
* Advise where necessary on corrective actions or repairs for customer service or to address customer problems on site
* Collaborate with engineering teams within the clients group in other countries
Qualifications
* Formal mechanical engineering or design engineering qualification, preferably to degree level, but minimum HNC/HND
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Trained and experienced user of Inventor software 3D CAD software
* Min 5 years of mechanical design experience in a fabricating/engineering environment
