Description
MissionThe Functional Analyst is responsible for the design and implementation of modern and flexible solutions according to agreed timelines and budgets in order to support the core business processes of the Organization in line with the business needs and quality requirements.
He/she is responsible for building cost optimized solutions to support the business processes and in line with functional and technical evolutions.
He/she provides estimates about the time and efforts related to the design and the development of the solution
LIST of activities
In cooperation with the Architecture team and under the supervision of the Program/Project Manager, the Functional Analyst will:
- Support to prioritize business requirements according to functional and technical constraints
- Translate business requirements into user stories detailing the technical and functional needs
- Translate business needs into efficient logical data model
- Evaluate the feasibility of the different solution always keeping in mind the quality, the cost and the future proof technical evolution of the applications
- Deliver documents in which impact and functional analysis are described in order to enable the developers to build the solution according to the standards.
- Review and approve documentation and code development.
- Support and validate integration testing, including test strategy and descriptions

Knowledge & EXPERIENCE
- Master (preferably in Information Technology) or similar experience
- Significant and relevant similar experience as functional analyst
- Autonomous
- Excellent analysis skills
- Excellent knowledge of the energy sector with a focus on, optimisation, nominations and scheduling or similar
- Experience in agile methodology for software development and deployment
