Sales and Marketing Assistant

This position is suited to the following individuals

A college senior or recent grad

A stay-at-home parent, or

An independent sales/marketing assistant looking to take on more work

Who is seeking work with flexible hours and performing work primarily remotely, from home office.

Preferably in the Cleveland/Canton/Akron/Toledo areas

Education/Experience: Who understands and/or has some experience in sales/marketing processes and methods to be performed:

  • Prospecting and lead generation (eg research, list development, data-entry, developing and administering mail campaigns; social media marketing)
  • Appointment setting - semi-cold calling - following up on the mailing campaigns to set an appointment with one of our sales/senior consultants.
  • Web site posting - assist with research and post writing; and social media out-bound marketing

Required skills

MS365 Office (word, excel and PowerPoint)

Constant Contact (or willing to learn)

Excellent in written and verbal communication

Other requirements

  • Must have be willing to use own computer, printer and phone for needed assignments, including long distance calls.
  • If appointment setting is part of the final work agreement for this position, calls are made in all business hour time zones in the US.

Therefore, this work must be scheduled and performed during these hours from a quiet place.

Company: We are a small woman-owned business, based in the Cleveland area and started in 2010.

We are in the HR Benefits arena with specialties in the voluntary benefit and global mobility spaces.

We have three related yet distinctively different products who we sell to the C-level of any size company.

Our team is based in several locations and depending on the product - are service are is either US only, or Global. We have a unique US service delivery model including a proprietary technology app.

Compensation: This is a 1099 position. Payment will be made based upon designated projects and agreed upon time frame and flat rate to complete that project.

These tasks are primarily administrative in nature so hourly rates range $12-$18 per hour.

Payment will be issued upon completion of project.

Qualified appointments are in two categories (1) corporate prospects and (2) individuals who have self-enrolled on our technology app and looking for a service provider. Qualified appointments set with a sales/senior consultant will be paid at a flat rate of $25 each.
