Hosting Services Manager Barcelona.
For a multinational company based in Barcelona, we are looking for an external consultant, to take over their Hosting Services, making sure that the related environments are correctly monitored and managed on daily basis, offering the best experience to the end-users.
The Hosting Service Manager will be leading the implementation of managed services for Azure hosting, putting in place an efficient organization and processes, in order to support and drive the adoption of services, making sure that the support, monitoring, reporting, change management and evolution of services, are in line with business expectations, offering the end-users a state of the art experience in consuming those hosting services.
The ideal candidate is an excellent functional expert in Cloud Hosting solutions and has the necessary technical knowledge and basics to lead and challenge an external partner in charge of supporting daily the environment, from a technical and functional perspective.
The Service Manager will be joining an international and talented team, working most of the time in our customer offices in Barcelona and engaging on daily basis with teams from all around the world.
The Service Manager will be part of the infrastructure services team and in charge of one of the most critical services that this team is managing today, with lot of strategic identified projects to move from On Premise hosting, to IAAS & PAAS services.
Experience of Hosting Service Providers such as Equinix and Cloud providers Azure will be well received.
Experience as a service manager in a multinational environment, and managing service providers is a must.
You must be based a commutable distance to Barcelona or be prepared to relocate to Barcelona for the duration of the contract.
Contract will be an initial 6 months but expected to last in excess of 12 months.
Contract will be paid in Euros.
