Description

Resource 1 is seeking a Lead .Net/Web Developer with some experience with Angular (versions 2.0 or 4.0) for a contract position in Elkridge, MD.

The initial contract is 6 months long, but extensions are expected. Individual should have at least 7 years of full life cycle application development, including design, analysis, coding, and testing. Individual will join a team of .Net/Web Developers responsible for the development of new and enhancement of existing web applications.

Many of the existing applications were developed in C#, ASP.NET and Web Forms. There may be some initial programming in support of the current platform, but programming will be mainly tied to the move to C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and Angular 6. This is a large-scale modernization project, moving to .NET Core with Angular and other open-sourced web technologies. This is a great opportunity for a Sr. .NET Developer to learn .NET Core and the latest version of Angular.

Individual should have solid experience building .NET applications using C#/ASP.NET MVC and at least one project building a web Front End with Angular. Individual should also understand how to use JSON to move data between the client (Angular) and server (ASP.NET). Should be well versed in design structure for MVC and object-oriented techniques. Healthcare industry experience and experience with Microstrategy are plusses for this position.

Candidate will also need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to interpret detailed technical specifications.

Technical Skills: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework, SQL, Web Forms, JSON, Entity Framework, T-SQL (Stored Procedures), SQL Server, Angular ), .NET Core and Agile.
