Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. MicroStrategy Developer for a 6-12-month contract in Elkridge, MD.
The Sr. MicroStrategy Developer will be responsible for building MicroStrategy applications that provide operational reporting, data visualizations/dashboards and ad-hoc reporting. The developer will be creating new BI solutions, as well as rewriting existing Cognos and Tableau reports/visualization in MicroStrategy. Needs to be able to work independently.
Required skills:
- 7+ years of BI development experience with MicroStrategy, or a combination of other similar BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, etc.
- 5+ years of MicroStrategy dashboard, reports and visualization development (version 9.x or higher)
- Ability to design and build attributes, facts, metrics, dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with data analysis and modelling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
