Description
SDET/Automation Test Engineer
Tremendous opportunity for a SDET to join a high profile, mission critical project and be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle across multiple projects and technologies.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining complex test automation using Agile automation techniques and tools.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and gather requirements, drive automation of every part of the software delivery lifecycle, assist with the agile process (sprint planning, test design, test execution, defect analysis/root cause investigation, & reporting on test status), identify defects and missing information in requirements, implement and continually improve automated testing framework, design and implement automated test cases, contribute to the creation of a regression test plan, and perform manual testing as necessary.
You will be working in an open (no cubes or offices) Agile and collaborative environment that is high energy and very fast paced.
This is a 12 month contract position with a potential option to extend or convert based in the Perimeter area. Exciting opportunity to make an impact on a mission critical and high profile project.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1 to 5 years as a SDET
- Selenium or Cucumber
- Agile
- Experience implementing complex test automation using Agile automation techniques and tools
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
- Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience analyzing business requirements and functional specifications with collaborative specification
- Defect Analysis and management experience
- Consultative and collaborative personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
