Art Director/Senior Designer- Initial 12-month contract- London
One of my largest clients, a world leading organisation within the energy sector, are currently looking for an experienced Art Director/Senior Designer to work onsite in London for an initial 12-month contract.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
*Introducing and applying expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects
*Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns
*Inspiring and motivating the product line to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work
*Reviewing the work of designers and providing direction and feedback
*Taking ownership of the visual elements of creative work for new business pitches
*Uncovering new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns
*Owner of SIS brand guidelines and related product/solutions brand identities
*Driving inhouse video and animation creation through planning, production, and completion
*Represent the creative side in new project initiatives
Previous Experience and Competencies:
Education: BS/MSC (similar) preferred in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Arts, and a familiarity with the principles of the oil & gas industry and B2B is preferable but not necessary.
Experience: Experience in art directing, video and animation production, and running creative projects with multiple stakeholders
Key Competencies:
*A strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation
*A broad understanding of marketing design and layout
*The ability to generate original ideas and visual concepts
*Confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally
*A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of customers
*A keen eye for visual details and accuracy
*The resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines
*A good awareness of digital media and evolving online platforms
*An innovative approach to graphic design
*Strong software skills in Adobe CC products such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.
*Strong software skills in 3D software like 3D Studio, Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender (ideally 3Ds Max)
*Intermediate software skills in Windows environment using Microsoft Office products
*Good understanding of the environmental industry
