Oracle DBA REQUIRED SIX MONTH FREELANCE PROJECT BRUSSELS!
A leading consultnay is looking for an Oracle DBA to join them for a 6 month freelance project in Brussels.
MUST SPEAK FRENCH OR DUTCH
Responsibilities:
. Ensure performance, security, and availability of 24x7 data-warehouse
. Support WAN based Golden Gate replication streams
* Automate fixes to reoccurring issues, for example pipeline failures and data inconsistency
* Handle common database procedures, such as; patching, upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
* Capacity Management/Information life cycle Management
* Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
* Development and the maintaining database objects
* Assists in database changes impact analysis
* Ensure Change management process is followed
. Provide 24x7 support during on-call support rotation schedule
* Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders
* Perform code reviews to ensure only robust, performance code is deployed
Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years overall IT experience, with 3+ years on Oracle RDBMS
. Strong proficiency in Oracle database management and Shell Scripting
* Solid experience with Oracle 12c and above
* Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovers (DR) options for Oracle
* Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
* A good knowledge of operating systems, networking, database design, scalability, availability plus Datamodelling and normalization
. Experience of deploying and supporting Oracle Golden Gate
. Experience of Oracle Data Integrator
* In depth knowledge and experience with advanced PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers and replication
. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities
. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
