Business Analyst (Data) Banking Contract Dublin. My client a global leader in their industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with view for longer.
My client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Data Analysis skills to work on high profile projects within the Global Markets Risk Technology team based in Dublin. You will analyse and document Data flows within the relevant applications with a key focus on Data Lineage and Quality. In order to do this the candidate will need to gain a good working knowledge of how Global Markets Risk collates, manages and publishes data. The position is aimed at candidates with strong business analysis skills along with experience of working with data in complex technology environments.
Candidates will Lead analysis activities, including;Define business process and data flows/analysis, Assess the scope and impact of system, dependencies and process changes. You will Assist the Product Owners with the development, documentation and prioritisation of Epics and Stories. You will work with stakeholders to map out their data usage and capture key challenges/opportunities. You will Facilitate design review sessions with technology team.
Successful candidates will have strong analytical/data analysis skills as well as strong problem solving skills. You will have the ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with business users. You will be a flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities. You will have good organisational skills with efficient follow up on open items. You will have exposure to Agile methodologies, with experience of all aspects of the project life cycle. You will have Financial markets product knowledge and ideally credit/market risk experience and excellent technical skills; SQL, Excel and exposure to Datamodelling techniques would be an advantage.
