Microsoft Identity & Access Management (IAM) Solution ArchitectKey responsibilities
Responsibility to manage the IAM Architecture roadmap
Provide leadership and oversight for IAM solution architecture and IAM implementations
Responsibility for the ”IAM Solution Architecture description” and the “IAM Architecture Principles”
Work closely with the Requirement Analyst to ensure complete technical requirements are gathered and use cases developed base upon those.
Lead and participate in architecture and design reviews.
Work closely with the development team to ensure that the IAM Architecture plan is correlated to the application architecture that the IAM Platform is built on
When on-boarding new systems and applications to the IAM Platform the Solutions Architect is working close with the other architects to develop a High Level Design of the integration.
Ownership of integration Contracts with other solutions
Provide input during the assessment phase as a ground for prioritization of efforts and manages the schedule of the team
Provide guidance during GoLive Planning
Collaborate with the IAM organizational teams to gather requirements from IAM Governance for Architecture Designs
The Solution Architect will work closely with The IAM Process Architect, Requirement Analyst, Testers and Developers, as well as IAM Operations
Provide input in discussions within the Architecture Review Board
Desired Skills and Experience
7+ years of experience in developing, implementing or architecting information systems and 5+ years as technical architect / design experience
Experience as Architect in in the area of identity & access management
Demonstrable examples of how they have delivered or worked with successful projects in IAM within at least one industry sector
Good knowledge about authorization and authentication from an Architectural view.
Experience from large global complex system landscapes
Good communication skills
BS Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred
Familiarity with IT security and risk management practices
Experience of Microsoft Identity technologies including Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD Authorization, Application Roles in Azure
Experience of Azure architecture including Azure AD, Web apps, Azure SQL, Application Gateway, Azure Stack, Hybrid solutions, Logic Apps etc etc.
Knowledge about concepts like RBAC, MFA, ABAC, IGA, CIAM, FIDO, IDP.
