Urgent Requirement - Shop Floor Engineer - Aerospace - Derbyshire - Contract (6 months)
Good afternoon,
An aerospace client of mine in Derbyshire are currently looking to add a shop floor engineer into their team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will have experience in a range of "hands-on" roles, where they have developed their knowledge of a series of processes.
Skills and experience:
- "Hands-on" experience from a host of roles, with in-depth understanding of different shop-floor processes and how to develop them (machining, inspection, welding, fabrication, blending, milling, turning)
- Rolls Royce experience - Beneficial
- Experience with turbines/NGVs (coatings/repairs) - Beneficial
- Liaising with different teams on the shop floor to improve and develop each process
Role: Interim Engineer
Location: Derbyshire
Rate: Negotiable (dependant on experience)
Type: Contract (6 months)
