NK418 Network infrastructure/Tooling expert: Banking, Brussels

BACKGROUND

The division that builds and runs the global infrastructure of the bank and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets.

The section operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.

Role

We are seeking a motivated candidate in network infrastructure domain for new challenges in our domain.

The candidate will be asked to perform the following:

Maintenance of existing tools (Smarts, Gigamon, HPNA...), mainly Linux based
Provide support and training to network LAN/WAN/Security/UC administrator to use available tools to trouble shoot the network.
Writing scripts in Python, Interfacing with Rest APIs to automate the network management.
Writing Ansible Playbook, modules
Quarterly review of Patches (or urgent security patches)
Modifications/Additions to support documentation as required
Testing on Development environment before move into Prod.
Doing proof of concept of new applications/application module
Follow market tools evolution, up to date with our integrator, software vendor.
Create scheduled reports or ad-hoc reports.
Improve friendliness/usage of the tools for LAN/WAN/Security/Unified Communication administrator.
Ensure tools are ready to use and correctly monitored.

Please note this role is based in Brussels and includes weekend work (one weekend in every 6-8 weeks), assigned on a rotational basis.
