Application Developer (UI/React JS) Contract Dublin 6-18 Months.
My client a leading name in their global industry is in urgent need of a talented Application Developer to join them on a contract basis.
This particular role sits within the Global FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) Technology organisation and will focus on strategic projects, delivering change for our business partners. My client is looking for a talented developer to help us build out our strategic conduct reporting and supervisory framework using a distributed computing stack and web.The ideal candidate will help drive technical standards; work with our business partners to determine feature requirements; research and implement industry best practices and apply them to a rapidly evolving Application. My client primarily develops software in Python with integration to enterprise messaging, relational and Object Oriented database, and grid computing platforms.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years of professional programming experience. You will have proven track record of technical leadership, or a significant individual contribution to a large or complex business critical technology stack. You will have strong knowledge of service and data flow orchestration. You will have database development. You will work well in a team environment. Successful candidates will have experience of professional programming in Python. You will also have experience of professional UI development, ideally in ReactJS. Candidates will have enterprise architecture and DevOps experience. You will have experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, in particular Spark and HDFS NoSQL experience. Candidates will have exposure to continuous integration and test driven development and Designing and implementing large scale distributed systems.Strong Scripting and automation skills.
