Role Summary:
Electrical engineer responsible for generation or new circuit designs for Civil Aircraft Power distribution system. The role shall include interpretation of customer requirements, generation of detailed design data in accordance with company and industry standards.Part of this role will also include the generation of engineering data used for in service documentation such as service bulletins and CMMs.
Key Activities:
- Creation of new electrical circuits and design packs for aircraft power distribution system
- Engineering source data for service bulletins and CMMs
- Technical engineering support to production line
- In depth investigations on aircraft Electrical power systems
- Fault finding and failure analysis on electrical components
Essential responsibilities:
- Electrical circuit design based on customer requirements
- Investigations on Aircraft Power systems
- Service bulletin & CMM design data
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/Aircraft Power systems
- Proven experience working in an Aviation environment
- Demonstrated ability to generate detailed design data & circuits based on requirements
- Capable of using full Microsoft Office Suite at full capability
- Ability to create and edit electrical schematics
- Demonstrated examples of following strict configuration control standards
Desired characteristics:
- Experience working on Civil Aircraft Power systems
- Experience of generating engineering design data for Service Bulletins or CMMs
- Ability to solve problems logically and efficiently
- Previous use on tools such as: AutoCAD, Mentor Graphics Capital
- Experience working within an 'Agile' team environment
