Skype for Business Delivery analyst/Communications engineer/Support Engineer

For one of the leading banks in the Netherlands we are looking for a Skype for Business Delivery Analyst. In this role you are responsible for managing, supporting Skype for Business, among others, within bank's Voice & Video Team. This team is characterized by quality, craftsmanship and team spirit. Supporting and working together on innovative projects, for a wide range of user groups within bank, worldwide.

What does the Delivery Analyst job entail?

The Voice & Video team works as a DevOps team in an Agile Scrum environment. With DevOps we join forces to enable colleagues to have contact with each other with the best and most innovative Voice and Video resources.

The international team that you end up with consists of around 12 colleagues who work together from different locations. The role of Delivery Analyst is characterized by dynamics and versatility. The DevOps team works within the IT infrastructure/Office365 domain. The aim of IT Infra is to offer stable, high-quality, safe and cost-effective solutions for bank activities worldwide. The Voice and Video team manages, supports and develops all systems and services that are required for internal and external communication with bank. These services include telephony, chat/IM and video. The products we manage are used by more than 35,000 colleagues worldwide.

This includes:

  • Skype for Business;
  • Anywhere365;
  • Audio codes SBCs;
  • Verint, Nice, Verba;
  • Polycom, Audio codes peripherals;
  • Pexip.

Who are we looking for?

  • Completed MBO and/or HBO education, with a preference for the direction of computer science/electrical engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar management position
  • Knowledge of and/or certified on Skype For Business (or previously Lync) products is an advantage
  • You have basic knowledge of telephony infrastructure; terms such as VoIP, QoS, Unified Contact Center, UM and the like are not strange to you
  • Knowledge of Anywhere, Audio codes, Verba/Verint is an advantage, but not a knock-out criterion, the will to gain knowledge is required
  • You know better than anyone what an operational role entails; you stand for quality, you are strongly customer-oriented, and you are always looking for the best solution
  • Preferably you have experience with DevOps, Agile/Scrum and Lean methodologies;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • Can handle time pressure and deadlines;
  • You are flexible, but you can also be assertive in a team;
  • Willing to delve into the technical possibilities of the products within the Voice and Video team and ultimately to understand them.
