My client is looking for an experienced French speaking Telecom BSS Project Manager for a Telco Operator - Business Support System project, you will require excellent Telecoms BSS Project Management experience for this role and have Ericsson BSCS billing experience.
Context:
This program for our customer in French Polynesia, consists of the complete transformation of the business support system and the merge of 2 entities Systems. They will migrate from source to target solution which consists mainly in Ericsson BSS products. Billing, (Ericsson BSCS), Mediation, (Ericsson MM) and ESB (Tibco) Program has started in Q4 2017.
Your role as Customer Project Manager, assisted by a solution architect will be the point of contact of the customer for the covered domain which is Billing (Ericsson BSCS), Mediation (Ericsson MM) and ESB (Tibco).
Mission/Task
Your role as Customer Project Manager (CPM) will be in charge of leading a sub project (Billing, Mediation and Enterprise Service Bus) from start to end which includes requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, customer acceptance, cutover and move to production, stabilisation
Your Responsibilities as CPM will include:
- Planning, Budget, Risks management, Team leading, Resource plan, Alerts
- Financials and progress, re estimation and repositories
- Coordinating with the overall program teams and with each other domain CPM and SA when needed
- Ensures all operational Ericsson engagements are met and that all methods and processes are applied by his/her team
- Prepares the Workshops and supports her/his team to meet client commitments
- Prepares/Contribute to the purchase of the plate-forms of her/his project
- Prepares and leads operational internal and customer steering meetings
- Contribute/Participates in overall internal and customer steering meetings
- Leads his/her teams to deliver on time and with expected scope & quality
- Reports and updates all project KPIs
Required skills:
- French and English are mandatory.
- At least 5 years of experience as project manager.
- Proven experience of team management.
- Proven experience in projects in BSS
- Proven experience in projects for Telco Operators.
- Technical knowledge of Ericsson BSCS Solution is a priority.
- Ericsson Multi Mediation MM and TIBCO ESB is preferred.
This role will be based in Paris, France and 1 trip to the client site in French Polynesia will be required.
