Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Web UI/UX Designer for a contract position in Elkridge, MD. Individual should have at least 5 years of UI/UX design experience. The goal of the project is to standardize the look and feel of the presentation layer of customer-facing web applications, while applying responsive and adaptive design. Selected applicant will help improve the user experience and design of web-based enterprise applications based on best practices for UI/UX design. Individual should have some development in their background as well, so they can move around applications (not websites). Must have experience designing/developing dynamic pages, including the knowledge and skills to style pages that may be made up of multiple parts, some styles applied by code. Individual will leverage various tools for web design, including Angular 6, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Experience with Angular is a plus for this position, but not required. If a candidate does not have experience with Angular, they must have coding experience with CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, etc. Individual will work with the Business Analysts and users for story boarding, process flows, mock-ups, lay-outs, etc. Designing web applications for enterprise/corporate clients is preferred for this position. Individual should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
