Procurement Buying Channel Manager
In this role you will take responsibility for establishing and continuously improving Buying Channels for GSK.As part of an overall transformation programme for the wider business, you will set out the vision, approach and the detailed implementation plan to allow spend segmentation into new buyingchannels. This will include working with various parties across GSK, aiming to create channels which will support the customer community (including category managers and suppliers) globally. Once established you will closely care take these Buying Channels to ensure continuous best practice,governance and process improvements to retain best in class position.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Definition of the buying channel framework for GSK globally considering the global template and geographical specificities.
Delivery of the transformation plan, guiding the teams through its implementation and tracking progress.
Providing input into data migration activities.
Preparing the organization for the post-project functioning.
Acting as the buying channel point of contact for Procurement Category Managers, Global
Business Owners, Tech Business Partners, Audit & operations.
Significant Project Management of change and improvement projects
About You:
To succeed in this role you will bring significant prior experience in buying channel solutions such as catalogues, marketplaces and contracts to the table. You will be a confident and influential communicator, able to coordinate complex projects across multiple teams and do all this with a diplomatic and flexible approach. You will be an independent thinker with a dynamic and positive attitude, able to overcome objections and act as a key contact and advisor for colleagues globally.
