Python Developer
For one of the leading global providers of financial and investment advice and services, we are currently looking for an experienced Python Developer to join of the key departments in Wroclaw. The area is currently going through major change and investment.
The role offers a hands-on engineering position responsible for development of high-performance Big Data solutions in the Finance space.
The successful candidate will get the chance take on a role with real responsibility, learn new skills and gain invaluable experience working with colleagues globally across the bank while being supported and mentored by both Project team and local Team Lead - all essential ingredients to fast track your career.
Our client offers a flexible cooperation either on a B2B basis or contract of employment with a very competitive compensation package for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Python solutions in Product Control and wider CFO IT
- Preparing tech design in assigned projects
- Cooperating with local Data Scientists and Business Analysts on implementation of solutions in our Big Data stack
- Cooperating with other Big Data Developers globally
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 3 years in similar role
- Advanced programming in Python
- Strong Spark experience
- Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, Impala
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra
- Fluent English
- Understanding of the financial industry and its data
