Description

A leading Global Bank currently require an Assistant Product Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in Whiteley near Fareham in Hampshire, paying up to £350 per day.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Product Manager will help to lead the UK Insurance Product Team. To manage the integrity, promotion, maintenance and development of new and existing products in line with the AOP. Thus ensuring that the proposition design continues to meet the regulatory, competiveness, service level and needs of our customers, stakeholders and shareholders.

By considering customer satisfaction measures, alongside product reviews, conduct risk data and other feedback, the role will drive forward initiatives which help to ensure our customers' needs are achieved.

Principle Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making area

  • Influencing and negotiating the development and maintenance of new and existing insurance products and services with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning and prioritising activities to ensure delivery in line with agreed objectives - individual and business.
  • Continual assessment, identification and implementation of opportunities for product improvement and mitigation of risk.
  • To analyse, monitor and evaluate key business metrics (profit, brand, resource, cost, performance) which support initiatives to achieve improvement for the customer, stakeholders and shareholders.
  • Personal drive, tenacity and resilience through a complex governance and Matrix managed business.

Certifications, Qualification and Experience

  • One year of experience in either insurance products, financial services product management, distribution, change, marketing or processing.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Confident communicator across various channels and levels.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities with challenging timescales

Strong numeracy skills.
