Role: Guidewire Developer
Duration: 6months +
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Base Location:
Warsaw, Poland (should be ready to travel across Europe for GW projects) - it can be 4 days in any EU location & Friday can be from Warsaw office/WFH
Travel: 50-80% of the time
(2 years of ClaimCenter 9.0/PolicyCenter9.0/BillingCenter 9.0/Guidewire Digital Portal 8.0 experience with a minimum of 5 years in a web-based Enterprise architecture environments including.)
- Min 1 year of project implementation experience
- Works on project tasks with guidance from others, actively seeking feedback
- Applies Guidewire methodology and best practices, with guidance, including code reviews, standards adoption, and unit/functional testing
- Appropriately identifies and communicates impediments with assigned tasks
- Completes sprint deliverables with guidance from others
- Produces minimal defects while adhering to the delivery timeline
- Updates project tracking system (eg Rally) in a timely manner
- Contributes as a team member along with peers, customers, and partners
- Accepts direction from others
- Thinks independently and uses logic and reasoning to express opinions in group discussions for the project
- Establishes positive working relationships with customers, partners, and Guidewire colleagues based on mutual trust, respect, credibility, and humbleness
- Teams with Guidewire peers and management to gain knowledge of the best practices which support successful customer and partner enablement
- Communicates effectively with a project team whether remotely or in person

- Produces software builds from software source code
- Conducts tests as defined in integration test specifications, records the details of any failures
- Carries out fault diagnosis related to simple failures, reporting the results of the diagnosis in a clear and concise manner
- Effectively responds to coaching from mentors and other leaders
- Provides support to customer and partner resources
- Exposure to Delivery project phases
- Awareness of core methodology assets based on initial project assignments
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology and tools
