RedHat Openshift Admin - Contract - Swindon

Are you a talented RedHat Openshift Admin looking to work for one of the biggest IT consultancy company in the World?

Here is the Job Spec:

  • Job Location: Swindon
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary: As per market standards
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Mandatory Skills: RHEL 6 and 7, OpenShift, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Jenkins, VMWare

Knowledge/Skills:

  • OpenShift Container Platform deployment, management, security, troubleshooting

  • Ansible - automating platform build, deployment and remediation

  • Docker containers - image management, security, deployment

  • Dev Ops tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Gerrit)

  • RHEL 6 and 7 (all aspects)

  • Comfortable with VMWare as well as physical servers (eg. Cisco UCS blades)

Experience Required:

  • Candidate will understand how to work within a large project structure and will have a working knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies.

  • Candidate should be capable of recommending process improvements based on identified risks and recurrent issues.

  • Should be self-motivated, flexible, hungry to drive change, and demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to successful project delivery.

  • Good communication & time management skills are essential in order to manage project team expectations.

  • Experience working within a Financial Services background would be desirable.
