Sever Engineer, Eindhoven, Netherlands, 12 Months, ASAP, £Good,
Our client is looking for a Server Engineer to be based in their Data Centre near to Eindhoven, Holland. The role will be varied and maintaining their current on site Infrastructure estate. The position could be ideal for a full time candidiate, or possibly work share with 2 candidates working part time.
The role will be t o provide racking and stacking, 2nd and 3rd line technical hardware and software support, involving the installation, configuration, administration, documentation and maintenance of server systems and associated equipment, Reporting on system troublehsooting and Perform repairs, and update software/operating systems, including support calls and monitoring of hardware warranties.
Working hours will be standard (Monday - Fridays - 9am-5pm). The ideal candidate will need to have the flexibility of also possibly on occasion, working on call, during evenings and possibly weekends.
You will need to have e xperience working in a similar role, in a busy environment, & good knowledge and experience of RAID systems specialising in HPE/Compaq Servers, HPE Blades, HPE enclosures and SUN/Oracle Servers
The candidate will also need to speak English Fluency, however having understanding of Dutch language would also also be advantageous.
