World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Global Insight and Strategy Integration Consultant to join one of the world's largest fuel/convenience retailers with 43,000 sites. This role is part of the Global Insight Team based in London and reports to the Global Insight and Strategy Integration Manager.

The Role:

As Global Insight and Strategy Integration Consultant (the successful candidate will provide insight and marketing strategy support to fuel and retail divisions bringing together different data sources both internal such as transaction and loyalty card data through to external trackers and other research projects.

You will work with global category team leads and local marketing and category managers, insight and analytics professional across the Business to develop richer insights on customer segments that helps unlock further growth.

Main activities:
*Work with Global Insight team/managers, CRM, Loyalty, Data Insights teams to extract and integrate insights from their data sources
*Provide strategic recommendations to the business based on insights from different sources
*Provide recommendations to improving our research studies and data for better return on investment
*Manage internal stakeholder needs and generate commercially minded insights/opportunities

The Candidate:

*10 years' experience and track record of developing marketing and or category strategies in a direct to consumer business ideally FMCG or Retail or Consultancy.
*Track record of simplifying complex analysis from multiple sources, synthesizing it and making clear recommendations to lead to actions.
*Exposure to senior management with ability to influence others, able to foster necessary relationships with agencies and senior internal stakeholders
*Strong project management and interpersonal skills
*Experience of marketing planning processes both in terms of process and content including forecasting, market sizing, opportunity generation, competitor and market analysis
*Deep knowledge of market research and methodologies, techniques and tools.
*Knowledge of analytic techniques such as segmentation, regression, TURF etc.
*Previous experience of working within an insights team, category/brand management, strategy, analytics or marketing science team. This could have been either directly at a retailer or in FMCG or at an agency or consultancy.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
