Eximius are partnered with a very exciting FinTech business based in Central London who are looking for an experience Performance test engineer for an on-going contract. We recently placed the QA lead who you will be working closely with.
We are looking for an experience Performance QA Engineer who can build and execute full scale performance tests on functional and API level. The ideal person will have end to end knowledge on Performance tests including Scalability, Load, Stress, Endurance, Failover etc.
Responsibilities;
- Conduct performance tests to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
- Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.
- Review, recommend improvements to Performance Test strategy and approach.
- Develop automated test scenarios for performance testing.
- Execute the Perf tests before every deployment
- Analyse root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions.
- Analyse test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
- Generate test summary reports for management review.
- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve performance testing efficiency.
- Monitor applications performance and report any performance degradation
Technical skills;
- Experience of writing performance test scripts using Gatling, Jmeter etc
- Able to guide and suggest on performance fixes
- Experience with Mobile Application and API performance testing
- Experience of writing code in one or more languages such as Java, JS, Scala, etc
- Experience of using Windows/UNIX/Linux/Web/Database performance monitor
- Exposure to Agile Methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible, team player
- Work with Infrastructure and Application teams to agree testing criteria and NFR's
