A market leading Telecoms client based in London require an accomplished Content Designer to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement. About the role

In this job, you'll be accountable for crafting content that meets user needs but also business goals. This role will have a material impact on the success of the Consumer business. The exact digital products in the scope of any of our roles will evolve over time. We will assign you to an alliance based upon a combination of your background, your development needs and interest and the business need.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for being the confident, objective voice of our users. Relentlessly chasing needs based innovation and producing world class quality experiences.
  • Content Design - You will ensure that the user is given the right content, in the right place, at the right time, and in the right way.
  • Content definition and direction - You will be accountable for collaboratively defining the digital content within the focus area of your squad and considering the impact on all initiatives across the digital channels.
  • Continuous improvement - You will engage with Product Designers, user research & data analysis to ensure our content is evidence based, user centred and continually optimised.
  • Content quality - You will be responsible for ensuring content quality over publishing quantity. Distilling facts from subject matter experts and using specialist writing/content design skills to present the facts in the most digestible, usable format.
  • Governance - You will be responsible for legal, regulatory governance and compliance of your copy & content
  • Commercial approach - You will ensure Copy and Content supports and aligns with the Digital and Consumer strategy and objectives
  • Responsible for the application of my clients tone of voice in your content.
  • SEO - You will ensure content optimisation through engagement with the SEO team
  • Production - You will ensure any CMS building and uploading of content is completed in a robust, secure and stable manner.
  • Brand - You will work closely with Brand, following frameworks and maximising digital customer experiences across the digital estate.
  • Design Team - You will be a Design team representative and a main point of contact for product owners and product team members on developing a user centred approach

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Content Creation - commissioning, sourcing, interviewing experts & editing across formats including copywriting, visual assets and video content
  • Content Marketing, Hierarchy & Journey Planning - Supporting marketing messaging, campaigns, planning of multi-touch point seamless digital journeys with user needs, business goals & data at their heart
  • Personalisation & Engagement Optimisation - Driving dynamic personalisation so that content is continually tailored to each individual customer in an efficient & iteratively improving manner.
  • Content Editing & Publishing - timely production, content life cycle planning including maintenance, governance, reduction and removal.
  • User Research & Testing - discovering content issues and needs regular qualitative learning
  • Data Analysis, MVT & A/B Testing - analysing behaviours and appetites using regular quantitative learning
  • CMS management & Optimisation - Play an active role in improvements to the components in use on the channels and the CMS.
  • Experience in the main areas of Digital Content Design
  • Experience in Content in a user centred Digital environment
  • Enough technical knowledge to create feasible, executable content plans
