Description
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Master Data Management (MDM)/Data Governance Subject Matter Expert for a project in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
As the SME Data Management you:
- Are part of the Data Management team to grow Customer in their Data Maturity life cycle and running projects on the DAMA data management topics
- Have a broad knowledge on the DAMA Data Management topics, especially on Data Governance, Meta Data, Master Data, Data Quality and Reference Data
- Have experience in Data Modeling
- Have experience in implementing processes and way of working in the area of Data Management
- Together with other discplines assess As-Is Data maturity and gaps -
Define the Data Maturity roadmap
- Guide and guard the realization of the Data Maturity Roadmap
- Analyze and Support Business areas/Projects on Data (maturity) improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7/8 years experience in same or equivalent role
- Data Management background should be clear in the CV
- Highly Skilled in English, both verbal as in writing
- Knowledge of the DAMA framework
- Expert knowledge and experience in Data Management (concepts)
- Expert Knowledge and experience in Modern data Landscape (concepts, tools, modelling)
- Hands-on and pragmatic attitude
- Agile
Preferences:
- Knowledge and experience in applying/usage set-up of Data Management tools is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Data Management tools is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Big Data/Data Lake (concepts) is preferred
- Live nearby Schiphol
Role description/Knowledge area
- The Data Management Expert is a leader in Data Management and Data Governance. She/he will be part of a team to reach next level of Data Maturity and support Customer in becoming a Data Driven organization. Especially the role is to help the Customer organization on its tasks to reach the required data maturity level and everything which needs to be put in place/support to reach that goal
Deliverables
- Define Way of Working Data Management/Data Governance
- Roadmap to become Data Driven and to grow Customer in the data maturity journey together with Program Management team
- Detailed Plans of Approach reaching next level in data maturity
- Guide/help to reach the next level in data maturity, hands-on
- Guide business/projects to align/meet/realize Data Quality improvements and mature in Data Quality
