Business Analyst (Banking)
Dublin City Centre
Large financial client is looking for a Senior Technical BA with a strong technical background and experience within a banking environment
This is a 60% Technical, 40 % business analyst with below skillsets is mandatory
Microsoft SSIS, SQL server, a Business analyst with Banking knowledge
Required
- Defines systems and project scope/objectives through research, fact-finding, with a solid understanding of business, systems, and requirements.
- Identifies, documents and implements (into plan) client requirements and needs.
- Translates business requirements into IT solution requirements.
- Research code to determine current system functionality and enhance or modify the code to suit the requirements
- Proven track record working within Agile teams/environment.
- Prepare and execute testing required for change to ensure business needs are met and the stability of the production service is secured.
- Proven knowledge in Banking environment/Financial background
- Hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst or in a related discipline
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedure and database Scripting using T-SQL and/or PL/SQL and to use SSIS.
- Ability to read code and service definitions in order to understand existing system behaviour
