Description

Business Analyst (Banking)

Dublin City Centre

Large financial client is looking for a Senior Technical BA with a strong technical background and experience within a banking environment

This is a 60% Technical, 40 % business analyst with below skillsets is mandatory

Microsoft SSIS, SQL server, a Business analyst with Banking knowledge

Required

  • Defines systems and project scope/objectives through research, fact-finding, with a solid understanding of business, systems, and requirements.
  • Identifies, documents and implements (into plan) client requirements and needs.
  • Translates business requirements into IT solution requirements.
  • Research code to determine current system functionality and enhance or modify the code to suit the requirements
  • Proven track record working within Agile teams/environment.
  • Prepare and execute testing required for change to ensure business needs are met and the stability of the production service is secured.
  • Proven knowledge in Banking environment/Financial background
  • Hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst or in a related discipline
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedure and database Scripting using T-SQL and/or PL/SQL and to use SSIS.
  • Ability to read code and service definitions in order to understand existing system behaviour
