Our leading UK Banking client is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join their ongoing group strategy piece based in Bristol.

Their Group Strategy Programme ) has set the foundation for Group Location Strategy (GLS) - reducing the UK office estate by 30% and establishing modern workspaces across the London campus. Group Location Strategy ) builds on Workplace Strategy activity, modernising workspaces outside London and establishing a five hub location strategy.

Candidates must have experience within Construction & extensive experience in complex project management, governance, planning, design and coordination of construction with new build & refurbishment projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver e2e oversight of the bank's projects including bespoke strategic initiatives and pilots as required engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure delivery.
  • Deliver in line with Change and Group Property Governance following Group Change Policy and using best practice control processes, continually reviewing this throughout the life cycle to ensure the right level of quality and accuracy is achieved and meets business goals within agreed timescale and budget including business outcome and benefit tracking.
  • Ensure detailed project plans are in place.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate engagement and exchange of information to ensure effective control and risk management.
  • Drive progress against the project plan, understand challenges and proactively manage the cost position and act to mitigate potential cost or time delay.
  • Ensure timely and detailed feasibility works are completed to support exist, go to solutions and BAU space requests.

Key Skills, Capabilities and Knowledge

  • Proven and effective project management capability ideally APM/Prince qualified as a minimum
  • Extensive experience of designing, driving and delivering Change
  • Excellent communication skills with significant experience of dealing with stakeholders at a senior level
  • Strong Risk identification and mitigation skills
  • Excellent conduct and issue resolution skills
  • Proven ability to formulate and execute delivery plans through to benefit realisation
  • Excellent financial analysis and evaluation skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
