Description
We are currently searching for a Financial Analyst to work in Den Haag, The Netherlands for 9 months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large Oil and Gas Company.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
Provide support on competitor analysis which is required by the IR team and RDS senior management for effective communication with the market, mainly based on competitor public announcements and analyst reports; an important part of the competitor analysis is to maintain and further develop financial valuation models of the company and the key competitors (BP, Total, Chevron and Exxon).
Assist in conducting quarterly earnings forecast of the company using an Excel based model based on external available data; maintain and update the model as and when business or external earnings drivers change
Manage the content for the IR website, maintaining high-quality and ensuring industry best practices are incorporated.
Provide key input into the continuous development of the Investor & Media app as an IR representative within the extended project team.
Produce quarterly summary of analysts' feedback and ad hoc reports summarising analyst expectations and recommendations.
Monitoring and tracking changes in analysts' consensus on key financial metrics for Shell and its peers.
Assist to maintain IR research database, disseminating key analyst reports to authorised individuals including senior executives.
Produce periodical management information pack of various financial indicators of Shell and competitors, including share prices, dividend yields, cashflow yields, ROACE etc using data applications Reuters/Bloomberg.
Key focal point for Thomson One, shareholder analysis tool, enabling detailed understanding of our shareholder register.
Assist with:
Production of various investor presentations and financial publications, including strategy presentations, conferences, quarterly results presentations, annual reports etc.
Production of External briefing pack (quarterly results and for key investor events) used by IR and senior executives. Liaising with the businesses to collate topical Q&As.
Supplying high quality information flow to other relevant departments, eg the media team, CI and (business ) Strategy teams
